Tables from Hebrew and Arabic PDFs to Excel

Upload a PDF with Hebrew or Arabic tables and, besides the Word file, get an Excel workbook: each table as a sheet, totals as numbers you can sum, without retyping.

What goes into the workbook

Tables as data, with the heading above and the notes below. A bracketed amount stays bracketed and counts as negative, codes stay text, and a last column tells which source page each row came from.

Pages with no table go to a separate sheet named Text, one paragraph per row. A Report sheet lists what was corrected and what to check.

How the table is decided

Columns are taken from the ruled lines on the page; row heights and centred headings are kept; total rows stay bold.

What to check

The border between a table and nearby text is not always exact, so compare the sheet with the page. For scans and photos, sum a column and compare it with the total in the source before relying on it. Unsure digits are marked, and total rows that do not add up are flagged in the sheet.

How it works

  1. Upload the PDF on the home page.
  2. Select the pages with tables (or keep all of them).
  3. Download the Excel file, and the Word file if you also want the page as it is.
